West Sacramento Parks & Recreation Issues a Call for Bands 

The City’s Parks and Recreation department is accepting submissions for local and regional bands to perform in its upcoming concert series next Summer 2025. The free Summer Concert Series will occur in the West Sacramento Bridge District on the last Thursday of the month from May through August. The Summer Concert series will be held in partnership with the Bridge District and Drake’s the Barn. This monthly all-ages music event will also feature art, food, and family-friendly activities.

Musicians and bands can sign up through Friday, January 17th.

Submissions can be emailed or mailed, and must include the following:

•Sample of a live performance

•Band photo

•List of recent performances with attendance numbers

•The band’s booking fee

•Professional references from recent performances are encouraged.

The selection committee will consider all entries received by the January 17, 2025 deadline.
