RANCHO CORDOVA, CA (MPG) - Hagan Community Park transformed into a festive Halloween wonderland on Saturday, Oct. 25, as the Cordova Recreation & Park District welcomed families for its annual Halloween at Hagan celebration.

The beloved event brought together community members of all ages for an unforgettable afternoon of costumes, candy and haunted fun.

This year’s Halloween at Hagan offered a lineup of activities that kept families entertained from start to finish. Thirty-five Trunk or Treat participants filled the parking lot with spooky decorated stations where children could collect candy and show off their Halloween costumes.

Children also enjoyed carnival games, face painting, a thrilling zombie run obstacle course, a floating pumpkin patch and pumpkin decorating. Attendees also created their own trick-or-treat bags before heading off on their candy-collecting adventure.

The crowd was captivated by a returning favorite, the Science Wizard, who performed exciting Halloween-themed experiments.

Families also had the opportunity to take a dip in the pool and visit food vendors serving homemade lemonade, cotton candy, cookies and burgers and fries.

Those seeking an extra sprinkle of mystery gathered for psychic readings while larger-than-life werewolves and a giant spooky pumpkin man made the perfect backdrop for family photos.

Cordova Recreation and Park District extends heartfelt appreciation to the local generous sponsors, Rancho Cordova Masonic Lodge and Rancho Cordova Sprouts, for helping bring this event to life.
